Why would I sell the rights to my seats on the Marketplace?
If you are unable to renew your season tickets next season, you can sell the rights to your seats on the marketplace and receive the proceeds from the sale rather than just returning your seats to the Ticket Office for free. You can also upgrade your seats if you sell the rights to your current seats and purchase the rights to new seats.
There is no charge to register on the website and create your listing. After you login to your account on the website, you can click the Create Listing button and fill out some basic information about your seats. The listing price is ONLY for the Seat Location Rights and does not include the cost of any tickets.
You will receive an email each time a buyer submits an offer on your listing. You will have 48 hours to accept or reject the offer before it expires. If you reject the offer, you can submit a counter offer to the buyer. The counter offer helps the buyer to determine their next offer amount.
If you accept an offer after December 31st, we will reach agreement between you and the buyer to determine whether the buyer will purchase any tickets from you for the upcoming season or remainder of the current season. After your seat transfer is completed, we will provide contact information so that you and the buyer can arrange for the payment and delivery of any tickets. You automatically retain the rights to any home playoff tickets for the current season, so you and the buyer will need to arrange for the payment and delivery of playoff tickets if agreed.
After we reach agreement between you and the buyer regarding the sale of any tickets (if applicable), we will email payment instructions to the buyer. We will email you once we receive payment from the buyer.
Once we receive payment from the buyer, we will email transfer instructions to both you and the buyer. You and the buyer will then individually complete and return the Transfer Form and other required documentation.
The Indianapolis Colts have granted season ticket holders the opportunity to sell and transfer their seats with no up-front cost. Once the Ticket Office has approved your seat transfer, we will send payment to you for the sale price less your seller fee. The seller fee is the greater of 30% of the selling price or the minimum seller fee ($1,000 per Street/Club/Loge Level seat or $500 per Terrace Level seat). The seller fee is reduced to 10% if the seats have been previously transferred from non-family.
